About St. Charles Farm

Outside of St. Charles Farms

Now under new management, St. Charles Farm has undergone some very impressive changes.

Proud owners Casey Ratay and his family have invested a lot of time into updating and maintaining the facilities here. We are always updating and maintaining the facilities in new and exciting ways.

We recently added a beautiful gazebo next to our outdoor arena and also completed construction on a new grazing paddock. We continue to add wheelchair friendly areas.

Recently, Casey added a 2nd floor banquet room above the current viewing room. This is the ideal place to have birthday parties and gives an overhead perspective to the indoor arena for comfortable, seated lesson viewing.

If you haven't been to St. Charles Farm in a while, stop by and see our newest updates, meet Casey, and watch the boarders enjoying the wonderful facilities and activities! Tours of our facilities are always available during business hours or by appointment.

Our Mission

about1
Our mission is to provide unequaled service and facilities for all areas of horsecare, training and lessons.

We have hired knowledgeable trainers with the philosophy and values needed to be successful and have provided them with the tools and resources to make your St. Charles Farm experience the best that it can be.

We are a "multi-use" facility balancing the needs of Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, and Western Pleasure disciplines, together in a country club atmosphere. Our students participate in Northern Illinois Hunter Jumper Association (NIHJA), Illinois Short Circuit (ISC), Place to Start (PTS), A and B competitions.
